Family Holiday Deals ("we", "us", "our") operates a hotel comparison service that searches prices across multiple travel suppliers and sends you to their site to complete a booking. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Account details you give us. When you sign in or become a member, we collect your email address and the name you provide (or, for social sign-in, the name and email shared by that provider).
• Search and click activity. Destinations, dates and guest counts you search for, and which deals you click through to a supplier, so we can show relevant results and attribute bookings correctly.
• Device and usage information. Browser type, language preference, and general usage patterns, collected automatically as you use the site.
• Cookies and similar technologies. Used to remember your language preference and keep you signed in between visits. See Section 4 below.

2. How we use your information

• To run searches across our supplier partners and show you comparable results.
• To recognize you as a member and personalize your experience across visits.
• To attribute a booking back to the deal you clicked, for commission reconciliation with our supplier partners.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the service, including diagnosing technical issues.
• To communicate with you about your account or, where you've agreed, about offers we think you'd find useful.

3. How we share your information

We are a comparison and referral service — we don't process your payment or hold your booking. When you click "View deal," we hand you off to the supplier (for example Booking.com, Expedia, or a Travelpayouts-affiliated partner), and from that point your booking and any personal details you provide are governed by that supplier's own privacy policy and terms.

We may also share limited information with:

• Service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, analytics), under confidentiality obligations.
• Authorities, where we're required to by law or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Because many of our supplier partners operate outside your home country, completing a booking after a redirect will usually mean your details are sent to, and handled by, a business based overseas. That transfer happens as part of the booking itself, under that supplier's own privacy policy — it isn't something we do separately.

4. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and local-storage entries — essential ones that keep you signed in and remember your language choice, and, if you consent, analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings; doing so will simply sign you out and reset your language preference.

5. Data storage and security

Member account details are encrypted at rest. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Ask us to delete your account and associated data.
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time.

7. Children's privacy

This service isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll remove it.

8. Linked sites

Our results and "View deal" buttons link out to supplier websites — Booking.com, Expedia, and Travelpayouts-affiliated partners, among others. Those sites are not operated by us, and this policy doesn't cover them. Once you leave our site, the linked site's own privacy policy applies to any information you provide there. We encourage you to review it before entering any personal or payment details.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices. We'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date.
